Ok, So I'm in texas and I promise to blog more. I have a lot to say actually. Finally gathered my thoughts about a military funeral I went to that I have never been more proud to be a part of such an amazing organization....More to come on this...
WE MOVED!!! We finally have a new house. It's not at all put together so when we get back to Georgia that is what I will be doing. I think it will be nice once it gets there, but for now I'm enjoying the time here that I get to relax and catch up on some much needed sleep.
I'm tired of the heat (I wont write more about that, but it is getting on my nerves). Too hot and humid!
BEST UPDATE OF THE YEAR!!!! Joshua just had more blood work done because it has not been normal in over 6 months. His SED rate was over 25 for the last 6 months. (something else wasnt right either) , BUT I took him thursday for some follow up work and EVERYTHING was normal. I cried! He has been healthy ever since we left texas from my sisters wedding and we havent had any fevers or illnesses. it's been a record really because it was every 3-5 weeks. So, on that note I'm going to bed, but THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all you prayer warriors out there that prayed for our little guy. God answers prayers!
Enjoy your weekend!

Hot Dog
The boys LOVE this Mickey Mouse Clubhouse song. They were introduced to it by their good friend Claire. Haha she also has a love for "hot dog" as she calls Mickey Mouse. The boys dont care about the show really, they just LOVE the song. At the very end they play it and I usually try to figure out when its on and turn it on at the end haha. (limit tv being on) You just have to sing it and they start dancing. Thought I'd share the video because I happened to think they are so stinkin cute. (I am biased) I ordered the cd online so that should make for some fun times. Less than 6 days and we will be with our WONDERFUL family in Texas for the wedding of the year! YAY JAMIE AND MATT

Tubes for Tuesday
Ok I feel kind of crazy for being excited about this, but I am so excited that the boys are able to get the tubes put in so quickly. Dont get me wrong i'm kind of nervous, but the excitement outweighs the nerves at this point. I am just thinking that anything is better than watching my child with a 104.7 fever be THAT miserable ALL the time. I will take a 5 min surgery to fix the problem. The Dr is awesome that is doing the surgery and he was super informative today. THey actually planned the surgery for Tuesday because we will be flying out on Friday to Texas. He said that it would make a big difference in flying if we did it that way. They are "tubing" both boys. Basically Jacob is more out of precaution although he has had many ear infections too. Joshua on the otherhand has constant fluid behind his ear drum and they are about 99.9% sure that this will improve that. It will also improve his speech. I relize they are only 14 months old and sometimes kids just have speech issues. BUT there is a pretty distinct difference in Jacob's speech and Joshuas. I am interested to see if that changes after the surgery. The audiologist said that he does think its the fluid that is causing sounds to be muffled, but its obvious he hears sounds because he can repeat similar sounds. We will see. Again I realize they are 14mo old and it could just be "typical". My background in education is good and bad sometimes. I often find myself pulling my speech/developmental books out to make sure they are right on par. haha i think they are fine they are VERY smart, sometimes TOO smart.
On a fun note: Yesterday we went for Mexican and Jacob wanted more tortillas. He was flailing around like a crazy boy and I said can you say please and he signed the word please without me doing it first. Then, Joshua did it (in his ever so crazy way). Much better than the eh eh eh eh eh eh and craziness and also soooo very sweet when they did it. They are super smart and ever so cute. Lovin this crazy thing we call life with them.
Oh yea another fun note: (not so funny, but funny): The boys have learned to use other objects to climb higher. AND they know they arent allowed to climb over the arm of the couch, BUT as soon as I go to leave the room even if i pretend to leave the room both boys bee line to the couch to climb on the arm. Widmar and I were out of the room for less than a minute making breakfast for the boys yesterday and came into two giggling little boogers STANDING on the arm of the couch. I may or may not have a heart attack soon. I can not leave them alone for a minute which is making daily tasks even more difficult and the dust/CLUTTER is piling up everywhere. I need to hier my dad to come organize and maybe my aunt brenda. haha :) Mom you can come too for support.

Happy Birthday Wdmar
Today is Widmar's 27 birthday. HURRAY! I believe today he is on cloud 9. :) He came in two weeks ago and told me that he finally knew what he wanted for his birthday. My reaction in thought was: oh geez really because I already got you something. In words: "whats that babe?" He tells me he wants the kangaroo leather five finger shoes for cross fit. I told him...ok. ;) What he didnt know was that he was getting a bluray dvd player that he has been BEGGING (yes begging is the right word) for, for over a year now. Everytime we go to the store he just wants to "look" at them or drool i dont know. So for his birthday I bought him that (all the while he thought I bought him his shoes). LUCKY DUCK mom bought his shoes for him. He calls my mom his "shoe girl". I think for the last years birthday, christmas, and birthday again my parents have bought him some sort of shoes. I will have to say I enjoyed the look of excitement on his face yesterday as he was opening his presents (he was like a little kid he couldnt wait til his real birthday) His smile brightens my world and in his words last night "his life is now complete". Tonight we will celebrate by going out for Mexican, which i'm secretly excited about because I dont have to cook. He deserves every bit that he got for his birthday and more. He is an AMAZING husband and father. I am blessed beyond belief to have him and I look forward to many more spoiled birthdays for him.

shopping carts
Gripe of the day...which i try not to have one of these a day, but today its a big one. Unless you have two young children this is not as important for some of you. HOWEVER...
Dear Sams and Commissary,
(they are the only two that have 2 seats, which is another gripe alltogether) have you ever seen a mom with two young children that may be walking, but have no clue that when I say go in the store that means hold my hand and go in the store? Please mr or mrs. cart taker leave at least a couple carts out for us. I will search your parking lot for a cart that fits my crazy kids, but if you take them all inside I am left with nothing and the stroller just isnt going to work when I have big things to get. So in hopes that I let one walk and carry the other and we all make it safely into your store without getting hit by a crazy driver in the parking lot and then put both kids in the cart there where one is running away, I'd like it if you maybe during your store hours left a cart out.
Thanks in advance :)

Thirty-One
I have a business! Yup, in my free time that's what I will be doing, I hope! :) I am a little slow getting started and am in the process of my first online show. We will see how it goes. Here's the link to my site...
http://www.mythirtyone.com/janaroman/
You can look at catalogs, check my events. If there is an event going on and you'd like to place an order you can do it that way or you can order at anytime through the site. Right now I have a "show" going on. So if you go to my events (on the bottom right under my name) you will see the event listed and you can shop that way. I can send catalogs to anyone interested as well.
So, thirtyone, maybe some of you are wondering why its called thirtyone. It's what drew me to the business actually. The business itself is based off the verse Proverbs 31, being a virtuous woman. I LOVE the basis of this company and that it is so Christ driven. Their products sell themselves and are functional and fun :) I love it all really.
On another note, Widmar is gone for the week so I am pretty bored at night. On my list of things to get done...
clean the kitchen (which includes cleaning out the pantry and fridge)
clean the hall closets
clean the office
Who knows if any of this gets done. It's currently 845 at night and after laying the boys down and doing the every day vacuum, dishes, etc I was too tired to do anymore. I suppose if it doesnt get done this week it will just be part of the moving process. Which will hopefully take place in the next couple weeks. I sometimes forget how lonely it is at night when Widmar isnt here. I suppose I will go to bed early because my teething boys may have a bad night (LETS HOPE NOT) But one never knows!!
Goodnight all!
Less than 3 weeks until Jamie and Matt's big day!!!! and we are in Texas!!

Mold?
It has been recommended that I have the house checked for mold. I called today and they put it in as an emergency because of the boys. (the guy I talked to was super awesome)! So, after calling I have done some research here is my most recent finding from moldblogger.com.....
there are 5 main symptoms that anyone who comes into contact with mold may experience:
5 Symptoms of Exposure to Mold
Nasal and Sinus Congestion
Coughing
Wheezing or difficulty breathing
Skin and/or eye irritation
Upper respiratory infection including sinus
Ok, maybe I am naive, stupid (for lack of better words), bad mom, who knows...but it never dawned on me until someone mentioned having the house tested that this could even be a possible cause to my children being sick ALL the time. on top of this I have some major eye issues that get worse and better off and on and never worse when i actually am at the doctors. The boys have had multiple upper respitory issues, coughing, nose problems, etc...FEVERS. So here I am waiting for them to come test my house for this. I dont know if I will be relieved or completely embarassed if they find that the mold is that bad in here. Although it is not visible other than our bathroom that we are constantly having to clean I feel like maybe I should have known about this. :( either way we should be moving sometime in the next couple of weeks so that should solve the problems. We believe that the lack of plumbing in our house may be the cause of the mold... I'm no maintenance person, but its all piecing together now. today we wait...in the mean time we are fever free today and hoping we stay that way for awhile. Will update with results later...
