Rain Rain Go Away We Want to Go Out and Play

We are enjoying our time here in Texas. It's been a little wet though. Hurricane season always brings rain and we are getting it. Hopefully it goes away by tomorrow morning so we can go to the parade. Time will tell. The boys are in rare form these days. I think the whole up and move our house in a day and then the traveling to texas (and maybe a little spoiling along the way) has created two very dramatic, silly and sometimes downright naughty boys. They are always good for a laugh and their into giving everyone kisses and hugs before they leave or go to bed. Their not so great moments are made up for by their silliness and sweetness.

We have already gone to the zoo here in san antonio and the boys LOVED it. I will post in a separate blog the pics from our trip so far. They also have found a new love for corn on the cob. (also pics to come). We have celebrated "Titi Jamie's birthday, Uncle Matt's birhtday, Bumpa (grampa's birthday), Widmar and I's anniversary while we have been here. (well not really celebrate the anniversary, but it has come and gone and really it's just another day. To me its all the other days that count, yes it marks the day of the start to our marriage, but its the marriage that counts and if I have to say myself I'm pretty darn blessed with the amazing husband that i have. We will take advantage of the built in babysitter here at mom and dads and probably go out and celebrate when he gets here in a couple weeks. Up next on the celebrations...Uncle Shaky's (Ricky's) Birthday on the 11th. :) Watch out world he's 21 now. EEEK (in the funny words of my boys when they see a bug) Thanks mom!!!

The boy's vocabulary has expanded incredibly since we have been here. It amazes how much knowledge they soak in. They now know what a snake says, an owl says, a skunk does (peeew holding their nose of course), a bear, a tiger, and various other animals. Baby Bear baby bear what do you see is a favorite book these days because they can point to the animals and tell you what it is or what they say. They are little geniuses if I dont say so myself. :)

Speaking of geniuses one last funny story before I go. So the boys have these swim bands they where in the pool and EVERYWHERE around the house. They always want to put them on it's hysterical. Well joshie had his on and jakey couldnt find his despite the pointing and almost placing it in his hands it was that close. I looked at Joshie and said "Joshie help bubba find his ears"(meaning the headband)...neither one of those boys missed a beat and looked right at me and pointed at their ears. Mom and I had a good laugh!

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful 4th of July weekend! I am going to take advantage of the fact that I have nothing to do and drink a glass of wine, read a book, while I'll fall asleep. Have a safe weekend and be blessed! We truly are!

Lots of love!!!
